Lisa G’s is located in Central Phoenix. Want some high-end food at a place that feels like home? Lisa G’s is the place. 2337 N. 7th St. Phoenix, AZ 85006 602-253-9201 Situated in a cozy Coronado bungalow that used to be Ye Ol Sandwich Shoppe, this intimate spot has a clean, modern look, like a page torn from the West Elm furniture catalog. Owner Lisa Giungo is a familiar face from other local hot spots, such as La Grande Orange, My Florist, and City Bakery, and she’s fine-tuned a menu of unique salads and sandwiches that’ll get customers coming back for more. Warm steak salad with fresh baby spinach and Point Reyes blue cheese; the Juno chicken sandwich with garlic butter, melted fontina, and sweet caramelized onions on fresh ciabatta from MJ Bread; and Lisas Bowl of Balls — homemade, secret-family-recipe Italian meatballs slathered in herb-flecked marinara — will surely inspire more than a few repeat cravings. The dinner menu has a lot of the lunch offerings plus a few extras, including fragrant, flaky empanadas, and sinfully good bruschetta. For enjoying a glass of wine (or two) with friends, the vibe here is stylish but blissfully unpretentious.

@twobeavers Hello there! RE the glasses, I’ve noticed that too! Just a trend for a contemporary look I think. So glad that you’re watching, my friend. Cheers!
Love you! Great video & very informative. I am a wine freak but did not know about savoring the wine for a few seconds. Question: why are many restaurants & wine stores promoting stemless wine glasses?
@TABULOUS1 lol – Why on earth would you be shocked at that, cutie pie? The woman owns two wine based businesses!
The wine was delicious too.
omg– JaiJai actually knows what she’s talking about!?!!
@aligned576 Banna!!! I so appreciate you watching, commenting and sharing your wine knowledge. I didn’t know that about the legs so I appreciate it. And as far as that syndication talk show deal I will be working hard on that in 2012!!
xoxo
AWESOME!!! I HAVE BEEN EDUCATING MYSELF ON WINE FOR A LIL WHILE NOW. LUV IT! IT’S SO CLASSY AND SEXY. I THINK UR AMAZING MY FELLOW GUYANESE SISTAH! OR SHOULD I SAY BANNA!! LOL;) YOU NEED TO BE NATIONALLY SYNDICATED. CLASS SEEMS TO BE NON-EXISTENT THESE DAYS.
*SIDE NOTE* THE MORE “LEGS” (DRIPPINGS AROUND THE GLASS AFTER YOU SWIRL IT) WINE HAS, THE BETTER THE QUALITY.
@Artsamust Yes, wine 101!!
Wine 101…love it!! Now I know!!
